Do you like these babynames?
Sorry I don't like any of them. If I had to choose, I would Say Vera for the Girls name.

I hate the name Aleksei.
Reply:Are you Russian by any chance?!? If you want an informed opinion on those names then I think that you should ask someone who is also Russian. I personally don't like them but understand you want names from your own culture (assuming that you are in fact Russian or from that general area). I think that if you like those names then that is all that matters.

If I had to make a choice from those names I would go for:

Liliya Tatiana for a girl

and

Alexei Richard for a boy.
Reply:Vera Tatiana - Not really fond of the name Vera, it reminds me of little old ladies.

Daria Demetria (known as Dasha) - It's a bit of a tongue twister but I like Dash.

Liliya Tatiana (known as Lily) - My favourite of the girls names. I love the name Lily!

Alexei Richard and Aleksei Richard - I like these, they sound good together. I like the ks spelling better because it's a bit different.

Maksim Richard - My favourite of the boys names, I might steal it for if I ever have a little boy!

Ilya Aleksei - Not as fond of this one, I get the feeling being called Ilya is just asking to be picked on in an English speaking school.

Hope I've helped :)

xxx
Reply:Vera Tatiana- 6, i like it, it just doesn't flow nicely.

Daria Demetria (known as Dasha)- 8 i love it

Liliya Tatiana (known as Lily)- 6 again, i like it, just doesn't flow.

Aleksei Richard- 7 it's ohkay

Maksim Richard5- nahh

so i love Daria Demetria and Ilya Aleksei

cute names and congrats (:
Reply:for vera is the child asian???? like Vera wang?

the second sounds to close to Diarrhea Dementia

for the third girl name why not Lilly? That's pretty

for the boys names

All the Alex ones people will pronounce Alex-y

For Maksim have you ever heard of the sims games? Sounds like his name is Mac sim??? no

and I have no idea how to even pronounce the last one but usually any name ending in a "ie" or an "a" a "y"or even a "ya" or "ay"is usually a girl name.

Poor kid. Your setting up the child for a long road of embarrassment in school!
Reply:I think Vera is very cute!!!! Vera Tatiana is beautiful. I knew a girl named Tatiana and she was called Tia for short. I think that is also very cute :)

For the boys....hmm....The first one...Alexei Richard....I'm assuming you will call him Alex. Which in that case. too common for me :)
Reply:I am so sorry to say that there is only one that i remotely like.. and that it Maksim Richard. the rest all sound a bit stage name like and not real. I mean i do like interesting names but daria demitria - makes me think of diarrhea dementia? someone who has a severe mental and bowel problem... ;-( oh my talk about a real mess...
Reply:Other Names of russian origin and there meanings :)

Dimitra - from demeter, greek goddess of grain and fertility, invoke the changes of the seasons

Elena - light

Irena - Peace

Aleksandra - defender of man

Katya/ Katerina/ Karina - pure

Lena - the light, torche, moonlight

Mischa - gift from God

Nadiya - hope

Stefanya - crowned with laurels

Yelena - light
Reply:I absolutely love Vera...it's one of those names that I think you either love it or hate it. I think it sounds good with Vera Eloise. I'm not too fond of Tatiana, but it's just the middle name and if it has meaning to you, then that's fine!

For the boys I like Aleksei Richard...good luck !!!
Reply:i dont like Vera... yuk!!! its a bit hard for me....

the rest of the girls names are very very lovely.....

Whats wrong with Tatiana... thats so so beautiful.... sounds like a dancer or Russian ballerina.

the boys names are sooo coool... i might take one for myself.
Reply:yes, they all sound nice... and not like "normal" names that all the other kids have. I would suggest spelling the first Names for the boys a little differently so that a teacher would not have the problem of mispronouncing the name(s).
Reply:They sound so complicated....?

If I had to pick one of each Vera Tatiana and Maksim Richard.

Sometimes simpler names are the way to go.
Reply:Boy, if u name them like that, they're gonna have some problems in school....

Why not name them simple ? For example, why not try Lily Tatiana ( no Liliya pls ) or Alex only.... those are much better than these... in my opinion :)
Reply:I really like the names Tatiana and Lily. I like Alexei for a boy too.
Reply:no i dont.

if you are choosing a double-barrelled name make it sound smooth or powerful.

ye that is a crap suggested category.
Reply:Yes, I love them. I love Russian names in general.
Reply:I like Alexei the others are so-so.
Reply:i like liliya tatiana.
Reply:Very unusual names. I love unusual names but I'm not too sure about these ones. Anyways, It's up to you. Good Luck :)
Reply:They are o.k. But Lilly or Sara for a girl

Matt for a boy.
Reply:I have to be honest, I don't like them... Russian names just sound weird in English... and we don't really have middle names, so it sounds even stranger. If you want your baby to have a Russian name why not mix it with an English name for the middle name. Also, they may be original where you're from, but they are so-so terribly common in Russia. So, sorry I can't really judge cause to me they sound incredibly trite.

If I had to choose, I'd say that Vera is a nice name, it literally means faith. Dasha (Daria) is sinfully overused. And Tatiana is an English equivalent of Ruth I think... it just isn't a baby name. By the way short for Tatiana is Tanya. Demetria is not a Russian name, I think it is Greek as it is quite similar to Demetra, who is a Greek Goddess of grain and fertility. Alexei and Aleksei are the same name! I quite like Maksim, but then again it is exactly the same as Maxim, and you wouldn't want to name your child after a magazine. Ilya I really don't like... plus short for Ilya is Ilyusha... I know it is longer... but Russian is a strange language....
Reply:I don't like any of them, sorry.
Reply:i would go for liliya tatiana and alexei richard

the others just sound a bit off to me
Reply:I only like Maksim Richard
Reply:No all dreadful.
Reply:nope don't like any of them.
Reply:The only one I like is Liliya, but that's just my opinions.
Reply:Chavtastic!
Reply:Honestly, no. I don't like any of them but its your baby, right? =)

If YOU like it, then pick one. =)

good luck
Reply:The only name I like is Tatiana
Reply:I swear these are Russian! Are they?

I do actually like them. To all the people who hate them - shame on you! =)
