Where can I find a list of real Native American Indian Names...not babynames?

I need a list of real names and their meanings or history of origin.

Where can I find a list of real Native American Indian Names...not babynames?
I am Cherokee,

The book I have is called.."YOUR NAME in tsalagi"...or "YOUR NAME in Cherokee"...

by PrenticeRobinson...he is Cherokee and teaches the Cherokee language.

This book gives regular names...for instance,

my name is Marsha...which in Cherokee is: MASYA, this book covers all the regular names...but gives the Cherokee way of saying and spelling each name.

Also go to your search, type in ...Native American Names.

Search around you will find what you want...You did not specify what tribe so I just took it for granted you meant any tribe...
Reply:ACTUAL GIVEN NATIVE NAMES ARE SACRED, AND USUALLY NOT SHARED WITH ANYONE OUTSIDE THE TRIBE UNTIL THE NAME IS ACTUALLY GIVEN TO THEM...IT DEPENDS ON THE TRIBE AND WHERE THEY STAND WITH UPHOLDING TRADITIONAL BELIEFS...I KNOW THAT WITHIN MY FAMILY, THE NAMES ARE CHOSEN BY THE ELDEST(USUALLY GRANDPARENT), AND A NAME CANNOT BE GIVEN TWICE...IT'S A GREAT HONOR TO BE GIVEN A NAME, BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE IS GIVEN ONE...

SO I GUESS I DON'T REALLY HAVE AN ANSWER, SORRY...
Reply:look in the navajo nation web sites?
